Kelsey Dann
For TIFT: Kelsey is so happy to be in Small Talk. Being a performer in TIFT’S Oliver, Kelsey has been previously involved with Talk is Free.
Recently: She has also been performing for years with Joy of Performing Arts. Kelsey is in grade 10 at Eastview Secondary School and is very much enjoying high school.
Next: Coming up, Kelsey is part of the cast of Kempenfelt Community Players’s Dear Edwina Junior. Kelsey would like to thank all her friends and family for their love and support.
Clara Agnew
For TIFT: Improv Olympics, Camps, Ushering.
Recently: I have only been part of the TIFT Summer Camp program.
Elsewhere: I've been in plays at my school, and I try to perform in anything I can.
Next: I hope to either become an actress or video game artist.
Pascale Graveline-Pleau
For TIFT: Pascale is doing her acting debut with TIFT. She is very excited to take on such a great role and work with the cast and the Director of the play. Pascale has been associated with TIFT for 5 years as a volunteer counsellor for the Summer and March Break drama camps and Improv seminars. The campers will recognize her as Buhbelz!!
Recently: This summer Pascale worked with Christie Taylor at Cingolani’s and assisted in the 2 weeks summer musical camp which presented a wonderful show on Friday July 17th.
Elsewhere: Pascale has learned her craft with Renee Cingolani, Joy Bainborough at JOPA and Sandy Pinel at Keeping Time.
Next: Her plans for the future, continue to learn and develop her skills and en route for classical singing!
Logan Prowse
For TIFT: Improv Olympics, Summer Camp Plays.
Elsewhere: Appeared in a Commercial for Hasbro and in an Air Canada in Flight Safety Video.
Next: Logan hopes to continue pursuing his acting career.
Adam MacWha
For TIFT: I just joined this past spring - I volunteered at the March Break Drama Camp and had a great time!
Recently: Composing and playing music, riding my bike all over the place.
Elsewhere: Working as a camp councillor at Snow Valley Adventure Day Camp.
Next: Looking forward to continued work with the theatre and school drama this coming year.
Trevor Matsubayashi
For TIFT: In December , Trevor performed in the Small Talk’s rendition of A Christmas Carol.
Recently: Trevor has a passion for acting, and can often be found inside a theatre. When he’s not acting, Trevor enjoys writing his current novel, which has yet to be named.
Elsewhere: Trevor made his theatre debut in Macbeth where he played the title role.
Next: Trevor is thrilled to help out with Small Talk one last time, as he will be moving to attend OttawaU for Biochemistry and Chemical engineering in September '09. Trevor hopes to one day return and perform in Barrie again.
Oliver Steven Marriott
For TIFT: I have helped sell tickets and show people to their seats for shows, such as; Variations on a Nervous Breakdown and Trees Die Standing Tall.
Recently: Helped for the week with the March break 'DRAMA CAMP'.
Elsewhere: From the age of three I have been in many productions with NADOS Nippers based in the UK, in shows such as The Wizard of Oz, CATS, Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Our Day Out , Oliver Twist, and several variety shows and workshops. Since coming to Canada in 2005 I have taken part mainly in school productions including Macbeth, First You're Naked, and in several dance recitals.
Next: After taking this last year of school, my ultimate plan is to carry on through to college taking Musical Theatre. Also with the option of gaining a teaching certificate in Drama. Mum and Dad say I should always follow my dream!
Cassandra Kauer
For TIFT: I have been in Small Talk since Grade Nine which makes it three years. I have acted and designed costumes for Stickie, by Robbie Woods, acted in Masquerade by Brandon Crone , acted in A Christmas Carol by Mitchel Wilson, and have seen and helped out with almost all of the plays TIFT has put on since my joining of the group.
Recently: I have been travelling, in April with my school I went to the Dominican on a Humanitarian trip, I had my old French exchange student visit at the end of June for two weeks and in August 2009 I headed to Kenya on another Humanitarian aid trip.
Elsewhere: I have worked on my schools Sears play as a lighting technician.
Next: I plan on finishing my Grade Twelve year with Small Talk, then do some travelling with a program called Katimavik, finally end up at hopefully the University of Waterloo studying Environmental Engineering. Of course participating in whatever theatre I can get my hands on the entire time.
